Philco Pegasus Pictureradio
1923
American
The Philco Pegasus Pictureradio is an example of streamline
Art Deco design. Manufactured in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
this particular model was quite popular. Philco produced 7,500
parlor televisors in 1923 and by 1928, production had increased
to well over 412,000. The Pegasus Pictureradio is unique in that
it is the only American parlor televisor to have the additional
feature to receive radio broadcasts. |
